Your admission fee to Notre-Dame Basilica includes a 20-minute guided tour, available in English or French during regular hours. This tour is an ideal introduction to the history of Notre-Dame Parish, the building of the church, key architectural features and the many works of art that adorn the building.
A leaflet in English, French, Spanish or German is available free of charge to visitors who wish to explore the Basilica by themselves.

In 2010, Montréal will shine. In participation with Montreal, City of
Glass: A Tale of Innovation, come to discover a radiant and varied
heritage: the stained glass windows of the Notre-Dame Basilica. A
professional guide will help visitors discover the church's historic legacy
by leading them through a 90-minute tour of the stained glass windows on
its main floor and in addition, the sacristy's and first balcony's stained
glass windows, which are not usually accessible to visitors, will be
included in this special visit.

Admission fees apply to all visitors, with or without a guided tour. This contribution is necessary to cover the annual costs of restoration and upkeep on this historic building.
Adults: $5

Age 6 and under: Free
Guided tours
Two tours of the Basilica normally take place every hour, on the hour and half hour.
Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Last tour of the day)
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Sunday: 12:30 to 3:30 PM
Please note: Because the Basilica regularly accommodates weddings, funerals and special events, scheduled activities may be disrupted from time to time. The Basilica reserves the right to change its guided tour schedule and visiting hours without notice.
